Bradford-on-Avon - Summer 2002
Near Bath, this small town was very welcoming, with a fine tea shop and farmers' market (see below).
For me, there was fishing in abundance with both the River Avon and the canal passing through the town.
We hired a tandem one day and went along the canal
There was a small but very interesting Saxon chapel in the town.
The picture above shows the tea shop that we found on the first day, and which we visited frequently thereafter. Below are Helen and Mum inside.
We also visited Bath while we were in the area.

We cycled a fair distance along the canal towing path towards Bath.
We stopped at a bridge for a photo-call.

We visited Bath on a couple of occasions.
I didn’t take that many photos but here are a couple, one showing a very entertaining street performer and the other a ‘living’ statue. The woman in the statue was just a passer-by.
