Howick - 2008/9
The NE coast can be bleak in winter, and it was certainly a bit fresh when we visited Howick between Christmas and New Year.
We stayed at the Old Rectory, a B&B that comes highly recommended.
The photos were taken during a six-mile walk along the coast, where we encountered some iron sculptures (Barmy Owl is featured) and a reconstructed Mesolithic house.
