Palmer Sports Day
Another treat from Helen. This time there was no doubt that it was a racing day with awards for the winners. Not my scene really and I probably came close to last. The Bassett name was however eventually redeemed by my daughter in law, Sam, who went some years after me and was best on the day.
The Vauxhall VX.
A fun car that I spun spectacularly but I enjoyed driving it.
The Jaguar twin-seater racing car.
The instructor gave me a real hard time and it was far from enjoyable.

The Caterham 7.
Real good fun in the Caterham 7, with continuous rear wheel drifts and many spins.

The Audi single seater
The single seater was more intimidating and, for me, difficult to drive.

The Mitsubishi EVO.
Driven on an obstacle course with water splashes to promote skidding, this was all about car control and as such was both useful and satisfying.
