Our Garden
When we viewed the house in August 2003 the garden was just ‘builders’ soil’, so we were pleasantly surprised when we finally moved in, in January 2004, to see grass.
It was only when I started to dig that the truth was revealed.
By May 2005 the embryonic flowers had come on a bit.
In June 2006 the border was planted but not yet fully in bloom.
A year later, in May 2007, the border was well planted.
June 2007 and things were really coming along.
By June 2008 and the border had matured nicely.
And in June 2009 and things had moved on quite a bit.
Spring 2010 and my pond finally materialised.
No major projects in 2011 but the pond has matured.
