Welcome to Chatteris and Bob’s Den.
This is the family web site of Bob and Helen Bassett.
This site started life as an indulgence in early web construction but over the years has become a family history, recording the lives of grandchildren and, in Helen’s case, nieces.
It is also a record of holidays and places we have visited. I have always been a keen photographer, and the site is in many ways a photographic diary.
My other passion is angling, and I have used Bob’s Den to log my exploits. However, since retiring in 2008 my fishing trips have become more frequent and I have now moved this content to a new web portal where it is presented as a blog, allowing me to add tags to enable searches based on venue or species of fish.
There are also some idiosyncratic sections that reflect my whims and fancies.
